77TH INDEPENDENCE DAY OF INDIA

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated at our school with immense enthusiasm and zeal. Shri Vivek N.C., Principal of Amrita PU College, proudly hoisted the national flag, symbolizing our unity and pride. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed individuals, including Administrator Shri Nandish Rao Puthali and Vice-principal Shri Pratheek H S.

The occasion saw a vibrant gathering, comprising parents, and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff from both the school and the college. The celebration started with March past, followed by an honourable guard of honour for the distinguished guests. A touching moment was when the guests offered floral tributes at the lotus feet of Amma and participated in an invocation, infusing the event with a sense of spirituality and reverence.

The cultural segment of the celebration was equally captivating, featuring speeches, melodious songs from both school and college students and captivating dance performances. The tiny tots, stole the show with a perfectly executed skit, showcasing their remarkable precision and creativity. The event culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks and distribution of sweets, spreading joy and happiness.

As a special touch, a session of meditation was also conducted, allowing everyone to reflect and find solace in the midst of the festivities. The day was a true reflection of our collective unity and deep respect for our nation’s journey to freedom.
