Valmiki Jayanthi was celebrated at Amrita Vidyalayam, Davangere on October 28, 2023 with tremendous enthusiasm and fervour, with the benevolent blessings of our esteemed leaders, Director Bri Aradhanamrita Chaitanya, and Administrative Director Shri Kotreshappa. The event was also graced by the presence of dignitaries such as Shri Vivek N.C., Principal of Amrita PU College and Shri Nandish Rao Puthali, Administrator, as well as Smt. Prathibha N. and Shri Prateek H.S., the Principal and Vice-principal of Amrita Vidyalayam. In addition, the teaching staff from both Amrita Vidyalayam and Amrita PU College joined in the festivities.
The celebrations commenced with a solemn invocation and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by our respected dignitaries. Teachers enlightened us with speeches that centered on the teachings and principles of Sage Valmiki. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and Shanti Mantra, encapsulating the spirit of unity and peace that Sage Valmiki’s teachings instil.
