On account of Children’s Day, Davangere Zilla Shishu Kalyan Mandali had organised various interschool competitions from November 17th to 20th, 2021. About seven schools had participated for the best student award. In order to win the award, two students from our school had to participate in 5 different competitions such as written quiz on General Knowledge, language and literature, and pick and speak.
Our Class X student, Jagruti T. won the best student award. She was invited as the President of the ceremony on the occasion of Children’s Day which was held on November 27th at 5:30 pm. She also delivered the Presidential address at the function.
Several other students had also participated in various competitions and bagged prizes.All the winners were awarded on the same day during the valedictory function. They were also honoured in the school by our Principal.
