“Teachers live forever in the hearts they touch.” The exuberant students of Amrita Vidyalayam Davangere recognized the contribution and momentous role of their loving teachers in the building of a progressive society and the development of the nation.
To continue our tradition of recognizing the dedicated efforts and service of our teachers, students of Grade X organized a short program by paying tribute to the great visionary, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, and expressed their love, affection, and gratitude with kind and valuable wishes. Students welcomed the teachers traditionally by presenting them with a rose and applying vermilion to their foreheads.
The program began with an invocation and offerings of flowers at the lotus feet of Amma as well as to the portrait of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by our esteemed guests of the day, Administrator Shri Kotreshappa sir and Smt. Prathibha madam. A heart-warming welcome was showered on all, followed by speeches, shlokas, and songs expressing gratitude and immense pleasure for being a part of this institution. The management honored the teachers for their dedication and selfless service with gifts as a token of love and gratitude.
Our special guest, Smt. Vinuta G.M. addressed the gathering, speaking about the vital role of education and educators in our society. Our Principal, Management, and staff appreciated the strong moral values of our students and blessed them with success in their forthcoming years.
