Students of Class 8 and a few teachers from Amrita Vidyalayam Davangere visited the Hanuman temple near our school as part of Amritam Projects. They chanted sacred shlokas and sang soulful bhajans glorifying the lord. Students also narrated a beautiful story and presented a Tulsi sapling to the temple priest. Cloth bags made by students were distributed to the people in the temple to spread awareness about avoiding plastic bags and protecting the environment.
