The 115th birth anniversary of renowned poet and novelist Dr. Kuvempu was celebrated at Amrita Vidyalayam Davangere on December 29th. The day is observed as Vishwamanava Day in honour of his notable literary works.
Principal Bri. Anjali amma graced the occasion, and all the staff and students participated in singing the State anthem. Various cultural programs such as fancy dress, speech and songs related to the literary achievements of the great poet were presented, and the day concluded with the national anthem.
