Diwali, the festival of lights was celebrated by the tiny tots of Amrita Nursery on October 25th with religious zeal and devotion. The entire hall was adorned with diyas made by the children. The tiny tots displayed flashcards with slogans in the assembly, emphasising the need to act responsibly and be sensitive towards the conservation of the environment and the safety of animals. The children won the hearts of the audience when they presented a fancy dress show depicting Ashta Lakshmi.
Archana to our Beloved Amma was performed by Principal Bri. Anjali amma. Teachers spoke about the significance of Diwali as well as the adverse effects of the fireworks used for the celebrations. Children presented mesmerizing bhajans with open hearts and devotional spirit; they also enthralled the audience with a lively dance performance. The celebration concluded with Arati and Prasad distribution.
