On 7th September, Amrita Nursery celebrated Krishna Janmashtami. The celebration started with an invocation song by nursery kids and lighting of the lamp by our Administrator, Principal of Amrita PU College, Principal and Vice-principal of Amrita Vidyalayam, and Sri Manikuttan sir. Many activities were conducted as part of the celebration, followed by Bhagavad Gita chanting, bhajans and a fancy-dress competition. Children were dressed up as Bala Krishna, Benne Krishna, and characters of the Mahabharata. Judges for this occasion were Sri Manikuttian sir and Smt Sapna ma’am.
The contribution put in by the parents and teachers of Amrita Nursery was the success of this celebration!
