Our school celebrated India’s 73rd Republic Day with immense patriotic fervour and zeal. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating this monumental day with the spirit of unity.
The programme began at 8am. The chief guest for the day was our Academic Head Smt. Prathibha N.The Management, Principal, staff and students were welcomed by our house captains.The guests were led to the flag hoisting ceremony by our school band team. Our chief guest hoisted the national flag, and the students saluted the flag, pledging to uphold the honour and integrity of India.
A short cultural program began with an invocation and offering of flowers at Amma’s lotus feet and a portrait of Dr.B.R. Ambedkar followed by a welcome address.The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for their motherland through motivational speech, highlighting the duties and rights of citizens. The students of higher primary class presented a soulful song to mark the occasion.
Smt. Vidya N. addressed the gathering throwing light on the importance of the day and the role of a citizen to protect the sovereignty and integrity of India. Finally, a vote of thanks was proposed to conclude the celebration. Students were dispersed after sweets distribution with the image of the fluttering tri-color in their minds and hearts full of the spirit of patriotism.
