It has been 68 years since God’s love descended to our world in human form! All are eagerly waiting to unburden themselves in her lap. Humankind is passing through a deep crisis mentally, physically, and emotionally. There is no relevance for a largescale celebration. It is time to apologize to Nature and God for our wrongdoings.
This year, Amma’s birthday was celebrated as a day of prayer and selfless service by engaging in prayer, meditation, and service activities. September 27, 2021, our Beloved Amma’s birthday was observed with spiritual practices for the well-being of all of mankind.
First, Amma’s paduka pooja was performed by Bri. Aradhanaamrita Chaitanya, chanting the 108 divine names of Amma. This was followed by the chanting of the mantras Om Namah Shivaya and Lokaha Samastaha Sukhino Bhavantu 108 times for world peace.
On this festive occasion, Amrita Tavasevam and Amrita Swadhyaya were launched, wherein many volunteers felt fortunate to perform selfless service and spread Amma’s divine message. Amma’s prasad sarees were also distributed to teachers. Bhajans were sung, creating a divine atmosphere filled with positive vibrations. It immersed everyone in an ocean of devotion.
The event was attended by staff, support staff, parents, and devotees who were happy to maintain social distance. Amma’s children danced with joy expressing their love towards Amma.
The festive occasion concluded with meditation, aarti, Shanti mantra, and maha prasad distribution. Everyone at the gathering felt blessed.
