Students of Class IX donated 125 kg of rice to Hariharalingeshwara Disabled Residential School as part of the Amritam Project, “A handful of rice and a heart full of love”. The donation made a genuine difference in the lives of the children.
A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal. A warm and compassionate talk by Amrita Vidyalayam students with the inmates of Hariharalingeshwara School filled their hearts with love, and the sharing of feelings made both students and teachers emotional. This significant act of compassion is more valuable in life than any expensive item.
