Hindi Diwas was celebrated to inculcate love for the Hindi language and to create awareness about the importance of the day. A variety of activities such as recitation, storytelling and speeches stressing the significance of the day were organized. Students spoke about the ability of the language to bind the nation, and threw light on the contribution of great litterateurs like Munshi Premchand and Maha Devi Verma. The winners of various competitions conducted in connection with Hindi Diwas were honoured by Smt. Usha Suresh.
