TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION 2019

“A flower does not need instructions on how to bloom. No music teacher taught the nightingale to sing. It is spontaneous. In the presence of great Masters the closed buds of our hearts open up. He doesn’t teach anything. We learn everything without being taught. His presence, His very life is the greatest teaching of all.” – AMMA

Teachers always guide and inspire every child. Therefore, to pay tribute to the contribution of teachers, September 5th is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in India.

Principal Bri. Anjali amma graced the occasion of Teachers’ Day at our school. The program began with an invocation and offering of flowers at the lotus feet of our beloved Amma. Flowers were also offered to the great visionary Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. All the teachers were respectfully seated and a traditional Arati was performed by the tiny tots.

A scintillating cultural program followed with items like Bharatanatyam, songs and a drama depicting our rich heritage presented by children of all classes. Students of Class 10 showed their love, affection and gratitude by presenting saplings to all the teachers.

The school management also felicitated all the teaching and non-teaching staff for their commitment and responsibility towards moulding the children. Principal Bri. Anjali amma thanked and complimented the teachers for creating a generation of children who stand out among their peers and are truly victorious.
