Amrita Vidyalayam, Davangere celebrated Vigilance Awareness week from October 26 to 31, 2015.
Based on the theme “Preventive Vigilance as a Tool for Good Governance”, certain activities were organized at our school. The students actively participated in creating awareness through activities like Slogan Writing, Poster Making and Elocution on topics relevant to the theme. Through these activities, the participants were able to reach out to people, and alert them to be vigilant in order to prevent the corruption that is happening in the world today. Creating awareness through slogans and poster making is one of the best methods to spread a message.
Students are the future citizens of India, and are accountable for the happenings around them. Reducing corruption can strengthen the government and promote good governance.
